['sup, residents of the DR.

Guess what.

It's hotter than hell, as per your usual summer days. Lovely, ain't it? Not even the breeze is gonna cool you off, because THAT'S HOT TOO.

Don't worry though, the DR is here to help! ... Err, sort of. Those of you going "outside" (though, why would you?) will discover that the soccer field is no longer RIGHT OUTSIDE THE DOOR.

Nope, it's just grass now. There's a shed off to the side that has some sport equipment in there, and a gravel path that... forks? The left fork leads to the pitch, but the right...

Since when did the DR have a lake? Well, that doesn't matter now, does it? There's all sorts of fun stuff. Waverunners, kayaks, canoes, other sorts of boats, inflatables, fishing equipment, anything you can think of! And most importantly, life jackets of course.

Go ahead, go cool off by doing fun stuff in the lake. You know you want to.]

[ This. This is why he doesn't stay awake during the day. But now it's too hot to even sleep alskdjal.

Hoshifuru is just going to be sticking to the walls. And the shade. And anywhere that's cool, occasionally flipping over once the patch he was pressed against warms up. ]

[ Kisibe isn't a fan of watersports at all. In fact, he hates getting wet.

...But it's so much warmer by the lake...

He's sat at the edge, dangling his feet in and swinging them around carefully not to splash the water.

He doesn't even know where this is. ]

[ Aphrodi is having a dilemma. He doesn't know how to use any of the equipment available, and he doesn't want to swim-- but he wants to do something in the lake because he's going to start sweating and sweating is really, really icky.

He just stands and glares really, really hard at the water for now. ]

[Canoe or kayak... canoe or kayak...?

... Well, with canoes, you need more than one person, right? But with kayaks, it's more fun when you have a group...]

[Well, hello there, hates-getting-wet brethren. Don't mind the kitty prowling around near the edge nearby pawing at a butterfly.]

[ Hinano runs up with an ore in one hand. ]

Let's go canoeing!

[ help has arrived for troubled decision makers! ]

[ The sun is really, really nice -- even if it is a little hot.

In fact, this girl is just going to be laid on the grass soaking up the sunshine. Her hair blends right in with the grass, and it's pretty easy to accidentally to step on it... or even trip over her altogether, if you're not watching carefully. ]

[ Kishibe's kitty senses are tingling! Lo and behold, a pink kitty is nearby!

He shuffles closer within petting-distance of the cat and clicks his tongue to get his attention. ]

[ Haruna is blowing up an inflatable ball, some other inflatables already blown up next to her.

She plans to throw them all in the water once she's done with them, of course! Hopefully people will turn up to play with her. ]

[Kirino blinks a couple times at the human but hey at least his attention is drawn away from the butterfly now.]

[ Good! Kishibe reaches out to give the kitty a few headpats first, to see if this kitty is one that lets strangers pet it. ]

[He meows in greeting--oooh, headpats! Kirino nuzzles against Kishibe's fingers, purring.]

[...Yeah, no. He's not going in the water. What if his hair gets wet???

He's just going to sit on the pier with his legs dangling over the side so that his feet is in the water but the rest of him stays dry.]

[ Kishibe laughs lightly at the purring and continues with pets. What a friendly cat. ]

Isn't it a bit hot to be chasing things around?

[ Sup Nishinosora. Hoshifuru is going to roll up to you (literally) and lazily flick some water up at your face. ]

Why not just jump in if you're going to get wet?

Oi.

[That earns him a glare. Good job.]

The point is to not get wet.

[ The glare gets a half-smirk in return. ]

But the water's cool.

[ He's swirling an arm in it. Hoshifuru looks like he's already been rolling about in the water, too, with wet hair sticking out messily. ]

[Which in turn gets a Look.]

I'd rather not. Don't want to look like you after all.

[Actually, Hayabusa wouldn't blame Nishinosora for not jumping in. He'll just paddle over in his little ~~banana boat~~ kayak to greet the blond.]

You wound me so.

[ He says it so dryly though.

Although, there's a rather mischievous glint in his eye despite the straight face he has on that might be a little worrying. ]

[Snorts at him.]

Nice boat.

[He sees that and he's just going to draw his legs back up and shift in a little so he's not so on the edge of the pier any more all the while looking at Hoshifuru suspiciously.]
