[Depending on where you might be in the DR, there's somehow a stack of boxes. Should you look over, a pink, possibly strangely-familiar-seeming cat will poke its head out of the topmost box.

[Oh! A human! Kirino wasn't even aware there were humans around.

He sniffs at Genda's hand for a moment or so before nuzzling against his fingers.]

[Oh, it's a friendly cat, too! He runs his fingers over the cat's fur then, bending down a bit to his eye level.]

Not much for talking, hm? Just want to cut right to the chase, and get pet, right?

Would you mind if I picked you up?

[Kirino blinks a couple times before shaking his head at the second question. Picking up probably means more pettings!]

[What a smart cat, too~

He stands straight again then, reaching into the box to gently pick Kirino up.]

There we go. You're really light, you know that?
Probably all fuzz.

[And being picked up does mean more petting! Because that's totally what he's doing now.
Ahhh, catsssss. *u*]

[ Hey hey hey, you're forgetting someone! There's not happy kitten noises coming from the ground.

A kind reminder brought to you in the form of a bite at your ankles, of course. ]

[Kirino peeks down and notices Kariya. If he... weren't so occupied with the petting, he'd facepaw.]

[Yeah, Genda can't help the attractive noise he makes at being bit, but he makes sure not to drop Kirino or anything.

Instead, he looks down and finally notices Kariya!]

Oh - there's two of you, is there? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ignore you!

[Still being mindful of the cat already in his arms, Genda turns around and sits on the floor, putting Kirino in his lap and holding his hand out for Kariya.]

Are there any others? Or is it just you two?

[ Hmph, that's more like it.

Kariya will climb onto that hand and arm, and then see if he can climb all the way up to Genda's head. Because that seems a great idea.

Just them, apparently. Not that Kariya's going to complain because more cats would mean sharing which he does not do well. ]

[Kirino settles into Genda's lap, glancing worriedly at Kariya before flicking his tail and glancing back to Genda.

Just them. He's a little worried though, what if something happens to the others while they're gone... oAo]

[The claws hurt a bit, but he lets Kariya climb up to the cat's preferred perch before reaching up to scratch behind his ears.]

All by yourselves, huh? Did you wander off on your own?

... Well, I guess that doesn't matter, right? Sometimes you gotta do things on your own.

[And now his other hand is petting Kirino softly, too.]

[ He'll climb to Genda's shoulders before giving up. Head is too round to scale right now. Maybe when he's bigger--

Pets are amazing. Kariya does not care that he has sharp claws, so long as he keeps getting scratches. He likes this human, Kirino, can we keep him?

Kariya will rub his head to Genda's neck and chin because, yaayyy he is a happy kitten today. But It's easy tell that anyway from the purring he's doing. ]

[The petting does indeed feel wonderful; Kirino's purring too.

Kariya--Kariya, please, we can't... technically keep a human... Okay yes we can keep him, this petting is heavenly.]

[Awww, haha. All of Kariya's affection just gets a laugh from Genda, and he grabs Kariya's scruff to seat him in his lap as well - but only so it's easier to pet Kariya, of course!]

It's too bad I already have a few cats back home... I'd offer to take you there for some milk, but I'm not sure how my cats would take it, you know?

[ Wha? No! Kariya does not like being picked up-- oh okay if it's for more pettings then even being picked up is okay. Kirino gets a greeting in the form of a tail in his face.

Sorry Genda, the only think Kariya understood in that was "milk" and that is a very good thing in his books. Cue the kitten eyes. Milk would be very nice, yes. ]

[Kirino just swats at Kariya's tail.

Milk does sound good, but... Kariya, really--]

... Ahh, no, don't give me that face.

[He pokes Kariya's little kitten cheek at that, before giving it a good scratching.]

I don't know where we are, let alone where the kitchen is!
Sorry, little guy.

[ Kirino- no his tail does not like swats. Fine, he'll just swat your tail with his tail.

No... no? B- but he wanted milk...

Okay so the scratching does feel good but that's not going to wipe the pathetic expression off of his face. ]

[... Facepaw. Genda's getting a rather deadpan look from Kirino, as if to say "He's going to keep this up until he gets milk, y'know. Sorry."]

... Well. I guess we can look for the kitchen here together, right?

[He scoops the cats up one by one, and sets them down next to him so he can stand and brush off his clothes a bit.]

I could go for a snack or something, anyway! Let's go.

[And then Genda starts walking but he'll... stop and make sure the two cats are following, of course. Not gonna leave a couple of kitties behind, no sir!]

[ Great, food time! Kariya races along next to Genda because food is an awesome goal. Although that said, keeping up with humans is hard when you're a tiny kitten.

Won't stop Kariya from trying though.

Look, he'll even go behind Kirino and push him a little bit to speed things up !]

[Wha--hey, do you really have to push, Kariya--He's keeping up just fine on his own!]

... Haha, don't worry little guy, I'll help you out.

[He reaches down again, scooping up itty bitty Kariya kitty and holding him in his arms.]

Wanna be carried too, pinky?

[ Oh okay being carried is cool too! Kariya will shift about until he's comfortable and nuzzle into Genda's arms.

Come on, Pinky it will be faster for everyone. ]

[He was going to agree anyway, gosh.

So yeah, he's nodding up at Genda.]
