Guess what.

It's hotter than hell, as per your usual summer days. Lovely, ain't it? Not even the breeze is gonna cool you off, because THAT'S HOT TOO.

Don't worry though, the DR is here to help! ... Err, sort of. Those of you going "outside" (though, why would you?) will discover that the soccer field is no longer RIGHT OUTSIDE THE DOOR.

Nope, it's just grass now. There's a shed off to the side that has some sport equipment in there, and a gravel path that... forks? The left fork leads to the pitch, but the right...

Since when did the DR have a lake? Well, that doesn't matter now, does it? There's all sorts of fun stuff. Waverunners, kayaks, canoes, other sorts of boats, inflatables, fishing equipment, anything you can think of! And most importantly, life jackets of course.

Go ahead, go cool off by doing fun stuff in the lake. You know you want to.]

[Kageno shrugs, seemingly struggling a bit with tying his hair before settling on a simple low ponytail...]

Alright! [ He's excited at the prospect of ~prettifying~

Aphrodi hops over behind Kageno and takes out the hairtie. ]

So you usually brush your hair with a comb or a brush, but you can use your fingers, too! Just make sure there aren't too many knots in when you start.

[ He hands Kageno a mirror, so he can see what Aphrodi's doing, and starts combing his hair. ]

[Never had a *~*makeover*~* before, so this is exciting for Kageno too~]

R-right... hu hu hu...~!

[he's watching carefully, being sure not to move too much while Aphrodi's working]

[ Lucky (or unluckily) it's only for his hair, so they won't be stood here for too long. ]

Okay! Personally, I start from the top and brush my hair back from there, then pick up the rest under it once I'm done. [ So he'll be combing back your bangs now, Kageno, for a ponytail, still combing it to make sure that it's neat. ]

Whoa! Wasn't expecting his bangs to move, so you'll get a quick glance of sleepy-looking eyes before he squeezes them shut, unused to the brightness]

[ He'll make you pretty, oh so pretty, so pretty and witty and gaaay-- okay maybe not the last part.

Aphrodi doesn't even notice Kageno's squinting, instead concentrating on the hair. He'll finish pulling it up, making sure to comb it all the way around so there are no random bumps. ]

It's important to brush under, as well. Doesn't hurt it to pull a little tighter, since they can get loose pretty easy if you don't tie it properly. [ Like so. Sorry if you feel a pinch. ]

[honey the only thing he's gay for is AWESOME HAIR okay this is getting supes awkward. Kageno keeps his eyes closed, occasionally cracking one open just a teeny bit to try and adjust to the bright light of the outdoors. Looks like he's got some long lashes~*~*~*, so even now the colour of his eyes remains a mystery!]

A-ah... feels pretty tight, yeah. Hu hu... you're like an expert on this, or something...

And then you tie it! Easy, no~? Alas, I'm only a self-proclaimed expert.

[ He finishes off the tie and comes back around to look at Kageno from the front. ]

[He makes a bit of a face, smiling awkwardly]

It's just... really bright...

[there's almost an audible creaking noise as he sloooowly raises his eyelids, lashes fluttering over permanently-sleepy-looking eyes that might be a nice deep blue if you squint a little.]

...Wow, this guy must have been serious when he said he just let his hair do whatever it wanted. Including covering his face. ]

Oh. I suppose you'd adjust to it sooner or later. [ And squint he will. ] Come on, it'd be a shame if the world didn't see your eyes!

[Deadly serious~! Sometimes it feels like his hair has a will of its own...]

Th-they're not that great, are they...? I mean... [He feels so... exposed. Aphrodi, his face is naked. What do??? ]

seriously though, I bought a wig for cosplay and the hair will not listen to me
