['sup, residents of the DR.

Guess what.

It's hotter than hell, as per your usual summer days. Lovely, ain't it? Not even the breeze is gonna cool you off, because THAT'S HOT TOO.

Don't worry though, the DR is here to help! ... Err, sort of. Those of you going "outside" (though, why would you?) will discover that the soccer field is no longer RIGHT OUTSIDE THE DOOR.

Nope, it's just grass now. There's a shed off to the side that has some sport equipment in there, and a gravel path that... forks? The left fork leads to the pitch, but the right...

Since when did the DR have a lake? Well, that doesn't matter now, does it? There's all sorts of fun stuff. Waverunners, kayaks, canoes, other sorts of boats, inflatables, fishing equipment, anything you can think of! And most importantly, life jackets of course.

Go ahead, go cool off by doing fun stuff in the lake. You know you want to.]

Yeah! [ She throws the ball into the water and goes to pick up a dolphin, handing that to Genda. ]

[kingofkeepers]

Ah--

[The goalie blinks in surprise a couple of times, staring down at the dolphin-- then back at Haruna-- then the dolphin again.]

...

[Unfortunately, he just kind of stands there, not knowing what to do with an inflatable dolphin and Kidou's sister...]

Take it! [ She pushes it towards him. ]

A-and then what?

[Eyes widening as he takes the dolphin into his arms, wincing internally as his hands brush against his inevitable Death By Captain Haruna's fingers. Hopefully no one saw that!

Still staring, but now holding a dolphin and a fishing pole...]

And then you jump in!

[ Haruna picks up another inflatable -- a duck this time; chucks off her jacket and dives into the water.

It was nice knowing you, Genda. ]

[And for a couple seconds Genda has to weigh his odds, here. Going into the water with Kidou's sister would mean almost certain doom... but he shudders to think of what might happen should Kidou find out he refused to entertain his sister...

Well, if he's a dead man either way, may as well go into it wholeheartedly-- Genda sets down the fishing pole, pulls off his shirt and runs along after Haruna into the water, plastic dolphin in hand!!]

All right, here I go!

Yeah!

[ Haruna laughs, shaking her head to get the excess water off so it's not bothering her, and proceeds to attempt to climb onto the inflatable duck.

It's harder than it looks, but once she's on she's going to try and splash Genda because playing in water is synonymous with water fight. ]

Take this! [ She can totally use hissatsu too!! ]

Hey-- whoa! [Genda's barely got a grasp on the dolphin before he's sliding off it, and getting splashed to boot! The goalie dips underwater for a moment, clawing at his inflatable like some drowning cat before righting himself again.]

I'm gonna get you for that!

I'd like to see you try! [ She continues to splash at him with her arms, hitting the water in his direction. ]

I'm the Quenen of the Ducks! You can't defeat me! [ She does an evil laugh and paddles closer with her legs, never stopping the splashing. ]

Power Splash!! [Have a mock roar as he counterattacks, sending a wave of water in Haruna's direction]

Usually it's rude to assault royalty, but they call me King for a reason! Ha ha!

Whoops typo, *Queen up there aha

It doesn't count if I'm royalty too! [ she squeals and dives underwater when she gets splashed at though. There, she'll swim around underwater under Genda's dolphin and try to capsize it. ]

Mega Wave!! [ RAR!! ]

GUESS WHO REMEMBERED THEIR PASSWORD

Waitaminute, where'd you-- Whoa!! [AAAAND into the drink again. Genda's not exactly in his element here, sputtering a bit and laughing]

Agh, that dolphin betrayed me!

YOU DID!

[ She shakes her head to get the water out while laughing. ]

Of course! He's my agent, after all!

[kingofkeepers]

[Splashing Haruna lightly as soon as she's done, grinning]

I should have known! You're a wily one, Your Majesty~

[ She should have expected that. Except she didn't, so she gets (more) water in her face, which only makes her laugh harder. ]

Of course! I have a duty to protect my people, after all!

[kingofkeepers]

[If this were Narukami or Doumen or any of the younger kids from Teikoku, Genda would have reached out and pinched their nose at this point. There's still the looming fact that KIDOU'S SISTER KIDOU'S SISTER KIDOU'S SISTER that's stopping him, though, so he'll behave himself~]

Pf! I guess that bit runs in the family, ha ha!

[ And Haruna is completely oblivious to this. She's still having fun, and that's all that really counts! ]

Of course! But today, my brother is not here so I must carry on my duty to the ducks! Or, er, penguins!
